The Department of Animal Production at the College of Agriculture, University of Diyala, organized a training course titled “Food Regulation in Poultry Farms” The course, presented by Dr. Furqad Shauqi Ibrahim, aimed to introduce the significance of food regulation and the reasons necessitating the implementation of this system in meat poultry farms.

The training covered the benefits of food regulation, including the enhancement of meat quality through reducing the accumulation of body fat, increasing economic efficiency by improving feed conversion efficiency, enhancing the health condition of the flock, increasing resistance to diseases, reducing cases of water retention, sudden deaths in commercial broiler flocks, and minimizing mortality rates in the flock.

Additionally, the lectures highlighted modern approaches to implementing food regulation and presented the recent research findings in this field. In conclusion, the course emphasized the imperative of implementing food regulation in all meat poultry projects.
