The College of Agriculture organizes a solidarity event in support of the Palestinian people.

The College of Agriculture at the University of Diyala organized a solidarity event with the Palestinian people, condemning the Israeli occupation’s violations and acts of violence against the Palestinian population, civilians, and children due to the Israeli bombardment of Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, which claimed the lives of nearly 1,000 people.

      The event was attended by all faculty, administrative, and technical staff, as well as students of the College. The gathering began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in remembrance of the martyrs of Gaza and in condemnation of the Israeli occupation’s violations and violent acts against the Palestinian people and civilians. The Israeli bombing of Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital was particularly decried during the event.

       The Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Hadi Mustafa, also participated in the event and delivered a speech on this occasion. He strongly denounced the brutal Israeli aggression on Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, which resulted in the loss of many elderly individuals and children. The participants in the event raised the Iraqi flag and held banners condemning the savage aggression.”
