The Department of Field Crop Sciences at the College of Agriculture, University of Diyala, organized a field scientific visit to the General Secretariat of the Central Library at our university. The purpose of the visit was to acquaint students with the importance of libraries and their role in providing sources and scientific theses for researchers. The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Othman Nasif Jasim, Assistant Lecturer Ghofran Ali Hussein, and Assistant Lecturer Enas Abdul Rahim.

Assistant Lecturer Hussein Ali elucidated the significance of libraries in facilitating research through electronic portals and manual exploration of all sources and scientific publications across various disciplines. He highlighted the role of journals, theses, and dissertations in easing the researcher’s work through scientific methods, demonstrating how to use and benefit from the library’s services. The explanation also focused on streamlining the process of searching for the required source. The students expressed their admiration for the library and the services it provides to all researchers.
