A Training Course at the College of Agriculture on Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Our Daily Lives

The Department of Animal Production at the College of Agriculture, University of Diyala, conducted a training course entitled “Artificial Intelligence in Our Daily Lives.” The course, delivered by Lecturer Rasha Amer Kazem, aimed to explore the most significant applicatio  ns of artificial intelligence in our everyday activities. At the outset, the course introduced various branches of artificial intelligence utilized in daily life, including computer vision and natural language processing.

Artificial intelligence has become an integral part of our daily lives, enabling companies to automate processes that previously could only be performed by humans. Machine learning can also be extended to address larger issues, such as predicting the locations of natural disasters and understanding potential drug interactions with medical conditions prior to clinical trials.

The course further elucidated the use of this technology in devices such as smartphones, security cameras, smart traffic cameras, autonomous vehicles, virtual assistants, translation applications, email, and writing enhancement tools that detect spelling errors and provide suggestions. Additionally, the course covered the use of intelligent home cleaning robots, Google Maps, social media, and e-commerce platforms.

Moreover, the course highlighted the most prominent intelligent programs currently in use, which assist users across various scientific fields, and explained how to utilize these programs, including ChatGPT and other advanced intelligent software.
