The College of Agriculture received the National Institutional Accreditation Evaluation Team as part of the central review tour conducted by the University of Diyala across all its colleges to monitor educational quality and enhance academic and administrative standards.
The team was received by:
The esteemed Dean of the College of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Raed Ibrahim Khalil;
the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Ali Aboud;
and the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Professor Dr. Faris Mohammed Suhail.
The visiting team reviewed the College’s academic programs, research laboratories, and scientific facilities. A comprehensive presentation was also delivered outlining the academic and research achievements, with emphasis on initiatives and projects related to sustainable development, including water resource management, soil studies, and environmentally sustainable agriculture.
The Dean affirmed that hosting the accreditation team reflects the College’s commitment to transparency and cooperation with the relevant authorities. He highlighted the College’s adherence to national academic and administrative quality standards and its efforts to integrate the principles of sustainable development into teaching, research, and community service.
During the visit, a constructive dialogue took place between the accreditation team and the College’s academic and administrative staff regarding ways to develop academic programs, improve institutional performance quality, and strengthen research and training projects that support sustainable development goals.
This visit comes within the University of Diyala’s ongoing efforts to enhance quality and institutional accreditation across all its colleges, and to reinforce the College of Agriculture’s standing locally and regionally while upholding the sustainability of environmental and agricultural resources.
